Pop Music

Although pop music is melting pot of styles, there are types of pop music that claim to be pop music in its purest form. This music, usually called pure pop or 

power pop, typically consists of relatively brief (not over 3 1/2 minutes) songs played on the standard electric guitar, bass and drums with vocals that have a very strong catchy chorus, or hook. Art is not a concern. Audience pleasure in listening to the song is the primary goal.  

Pop or Popular Music is the most widely heard genre. There are many teen pop celebrities and this music has become the new craze in teens of the 21st century.

Rap songs are also have made pop and hip hop music very famous. Rap is the chanting ryming lyrics. The rap artists make up rhyming lyrics and just chant it out as fast as they can. Some famous rap artists are:

Pop and Hip hop music is usually made by DJs and the song is sung by hip hop artists. Some famous artists are:

3. Lady Gaga

7. Beyonce

These artists make many albums. They make many songs in an album. 

Grammy awards is award given to many categories of music. Hip hop and pop are one of them. 

Instruments are not used in pop music. DJs produce the music.
